PTSD Added As Qualifying Condition In Illinois

Follow Us!Share This!Post-traumatic stress disorder has finally been added to the list of qualifying conditions for medical cannabis in the state of Illinois. Governor Bruce Rauner signed legislation adding PTSD to the state’s medical cannabis law on Thursday, June 30. In addition, people suffering with a terminal illness whose diagnosis is six months or less, regardless of the kind of condition, will now qualify for a medical cannabis recommendation.
