I am interested in attending your Portland event and possibly being a vendor as well. ( I attended your last event in Tucson, and it was great!)

  4. Jenna Beh

Hi! I am a physician assistant practicing in spine surgery in Washington state. I need to learn about how to incorportate the use of cannabis therapeutics into my practice, as well as how to manage patients who come to me already taking cannabis. Please send me information about this conference when it is available.

    1. Medical Cannabis (Post author)

Patients Out of Time conferences are tailored to Health Care Professionals who, like you, want to incorporate cannabis into their regular practice. Both the presentations and the networking provide incalculably valuable information.

  5. Tammy Vaughan R.N,

I am interested in your conference. Do you have any information on who would be speaking or on the specific topics that will be spoken about?

    1. Medical Cannabis (Post author)

click on “registration information”. Look under the “Schedule” section and click either “conference agenda” or “conference faculty”. Surely you will see why this conference promises to exceed

  6. Mary Denton

How many nursing CEU’s are potentially available for the whole conference. I have a nurse friend who is interested but thinks it is 6 ??? Thank you. Mary Denton

    1. Medical Cannabis (Post author)

      Hi Mary,

We are still waiting to have our contact hours confirmed for the main conference. The pre-conference nursing workshop application is for 6 contact hours and the full conference application is for around 12 contact hours. It has been approved already for 12.75 CMEs.

  7. Nola just south of Portland

As a parent of a 21 year old child with profound disabilities, I was disappointed there was nothing on your conference agenda about epilepsy.

    1. Medical Cannabis (Post author)

Hi Nola, The focus of this conference is on the endocannabinoid system and age-related illnesses. There is so much to cover with the potential therapeutic value of this herbal medicine. There will be numerous researchers at the conference who could answer your questions. Next year we will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Patients Out of Time and we are changing from a biennial conference series to an annual series. We are tentatively planning the next conference theme in 2015 to focus on the neuroprotective effects of cannabis, so we will cover it in more detail next year.

  8. Donna Drugatz

I allowed my nursing license and CNS license to lapse because I have been unable to work since 1999. I want to register for the clinical route at your conference. Is that possible? I do want to renew my licenses, and your CEU’s will help. I am attending because my sons have been encouraging me to treat my spinal pain from a serious auto accident, migraines, fibromyalgia, myocardial pain syndrome, and other issues with medical marijuana. I believe by divine intervention that last night night I saw the program my sons had seen and as a nurse, it all made sense. Now I am willing to learn and TRY.

    1. Medical Cannabis (Post author)

Hi Donna, I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. This conference would be great for you and in addition to the expert faculty, you will meet many nurses of the American Cannabis Nurses Association. I hope to see you there.

  9. Medical Cannabis (Post author)

Any idea when we might expect to hear re: certification results?

    1. Medical Cannabis (Post author)

I apologize for the delay. I was waiting for some stragglers with their attendance verification record. It is being sent to UCSF today and they will issue the CMEs to you shortly.
